Collas Crill advises Channel Island Property Fund on the acquisition of Valley House

Collas Crill has assisted the Channel Island Property Fund Limited (CIPF) on the addition of another significant property in Guernsey to its Channel Islands portfolio; Valley House.

Situated in the heart of St Peter Port, Guernsey, the premises will be the home of the Guernsey operations of the rapidly expanding Oak Group.

Acting as legal advisers to CIPF, the Collas Crill team provided cross-departmental expertise; with group partner, Wayne Atkinson and associate, Annabel Bishop advising on financing and corporate aspects with assistance from senior associate, Gareth Morgan, and partner Paul Nettleship leading the commercial property side of the deal. Collas Crill partner Jason Green led a separate team advising the vendor.

Shelagh Mason, Chairperson of CIPF said: 'We are proud to add yet another prime Guernsey asset to our portfolio. Working with the Collas Crill and Ravenscroft teams to achieve the acquisition, we again enjoyed the collective benefit of the joined-up approach and shared expertise contributed by all parties.'

Wayne Atkinson commented: 'As always it was a pleasure to work with the CIPF team. These transactions allow our financing, corporate and commercial property teams to share their expertise and achieve a significant and truly local result.'
