Collas Crill BVI converts to Limited Partnership (LP)

Collas Crill Group has announced its intention to re-register its British Virgin Islands office under the Limited Partnership Act 2017.

As of 1 January 2020, the BVI office will officially trade as 'Collas Crill L.P' and continue to offer its award-winning legal services to clients existing and new.

Collas Crill merged with BVI firm Farara Kerins in January 2017 and has enjoyed three successful years, resulting in a number of new appointments and promotions within the office.

The conversion to a Limited Partnership coincides with the news that Local Managing Partner Gerard St. C. Farara QC will step back from that role at the end of 2019, continuing as a Consultant and Senior Advisor to the firm in 2020.

Ian Montgomery becomes Local Managing Partner as of 1 January 2020, and will also sit on the firm's Strategy Board.

Ian commented: 'I'm delighted to announce our re-registration to form Collas Crill L.P from 2020 onwards.

'Coinciding with my new role as Local Managing Partner I look forward to continuing to serve our existing client base, and of course welcoming new clients on board.

'The changes relate solely to our BVI office and does not affect any of our other global offices.'
