Collas Crill further strengthens Corporate & Commercial team with three new hires

Collas Crill continues to grow its Corporate & Commercial practice with three new appointments.

The Guernsey office welcomes Tristan Ozanne, who joins the firm as a Senior Associate having gained over eight years of offshore experience acting with leading legal advisers for banks and financial institutions, licensees, investment management houses and multinational corporates on a wide range of complex financing and investment fund related matters.

Also based in Guernsey is Associate Simon Heggs, who has moved to the island from the Isle of Man where his work included acting for banks in a number of high level property finance transactions, the liquidation of an investment fund group consisting of over 80 companies and acting as general counsel for a number of AIM listed companies.

Shruta Nayak, who joins the Jersey office as an Associate, gained over five years of experience in financial law in financial institutions, restructuring and general lending with leading law firms in India and the UK.

The hires follow hot on the heels of the appointment of David Moore, one of Guernsey's leading corporate lawyers, as a Consultant last month and the recent appointment of Partner Joss Morris and Senior Associate Gareth Morgan to the Cayman team.

Collas Crill Group Partner and Head of Corporate & Commercial, Paul Wilkes, said: "Our practice is consistently recognised by clients for its commercial approach and for the strength of our people. The recent hires across our Guernsey, Jersey and Cayman offices position us perfectly to accommodate the increasing number of instructions we are receiving, and the new markets we are exploring, without compromising the high standard of service and proactive approach that Collas Crill is known for.

"Tristan, Simon and Shruta bring with them not only excellent technical expertise but also a combination of valuable offshore and onshore experience. I am confident they will be great assets to the firm and I am pleased to welcome them to the team."
