Dispute Resolution

 

Laura is a Trainee Solicitor, currently undertaking her third seat of four in the Dispute Resolution team. She joined Collas Crill in September 2021, having held a bursary at another offshore law firm.

Prior to moving to the Dispute Resolution team, Laura spent six months in each of the Corporate, Finance and Funds, and UK Real Estate teams, where she developed her experience with:

  • preparing legal documentation such as legal opinions and listings paperwork;
  • facilitating property transactions, with a particular focus on working with lenders on buy-to-let transactions;
  • overseeing transactions such as migrations of companies into and out of Guernsey, and advising clients throughout the process; and
  • contributing to high value banking and property transactions.

Laura studied at the University of Oxford, where she graduated with a 2:1 degree in Jurisprudence in 2020. Following this, she completed her LPC at the University of Law in 2021, achieving distinctions in all subjects.
